风筝的起源

风筝是中国的一种传统的民间工艺品。风筝真正的起源，现在已经无法证明。不过大多数人认为风筝起源于中国，而后传到世界各地。
传说，最早的风筝是由中国古代哲学家墨子制造的。根据古书记载，墨子研究了三年，终于用木头制成了一只木鸟，但只飞了一天就坏了。墨子制造的这只木鸟就是中国最早的风筝，距今已经有两千四百年。最初，这种“木鸢”一直是战争时通讯和侦查的重要工具，并能带上火药用作战争进攻的武器。
直至东汉期间，蔡伦发明造纸术后，人们开始用纸制作风筝，称为“纸鸢”。从五代开始，人们在纸鸢上加上哨子，哨子在空中发出的声音像筝，因此称之为“风筝”。唐宋时期，由于造纸业的快速发展，风筝传入民间，放风筝成为人们喜爱的户外活动。
根据史料记载，中国的风筝大约在14世纪传入欧洲，这对后来的飞机的发明有着重要的作用。
